Mechanized Thru-ARC System
The Mechanized Thru-ARC System (MTS) is an add on Thru-Arc™ Tracking System that can be installed as an addition to a new or existing welding cell and can operate as a standalone component or interface with existing logic controls via MODBUS Communications protocol.
Advanced Seam Tracker™
Tactile Seam Tracker™ systems deliver precise automated seam tracking for submerged arc, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW welding processes. Ideal for repetitive welding applications, these systems are recommended over manual and semi-automatic welding to improve quality and consistency while reducing operational costs. A range of standard systems or customized solutions are available to meet the requirements of many tough production environments.
Standard Seam Tracker™
Tactile seam tracking systems deliver precise automated seam tracking for submerged arc, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW welding processes. Ideal for repetitive welding applications, these systems are recommended over manual and semi automatic welding to improve quality and consistency while reducing operational costs.
Motorized Slides
Motorized Slide Control Systems allow for horizontal and vertical axis torch positioning for GMAW, FCAW and submerged arc applications. Recommended for simple, repetitive welding applications, the motorized slide systems provide flexible integration with any welding power source, feeder and controller. Simple system configurations are available by selecting a cross slide based on weight and the travel stroke length for each axis.
Arc Voltage Control
AVC-5 Systems utilize a control and drive unit to maintain precise TIG arc length in automated systems. In long automated welds, the drive counteracts tungsten erosion, keeping the weld zone and heat input consistent throughout the length of the weld. The system is easy to operate and integrates with a wide range of power supplies, torches, and positioners for assembling turn-key automation systems.
DirectArc™ Magnetic Arc Control
DirectArc™, magnetic arc control systems utilize a control and water cooled magnetic probe mounted at the torch to provide complete control of the TIG arc. Depending on the application, the systems can counteract arc blow, drag and wander, increase penetration, reduce porosity, or smooth the weld puddle. The system is easy to program and integrates with a wide range of power supplies, torches, and positioners for assembling turn-key automation systems.
With DirectArc™ Systems, you can precisely position, weave, or stabilize the welding arc in any pattern you require – The perfect solution for thick-to-thin material, wide weld joints, and high-speed TIG welding, drawing out impurities and creating cosmetic finishes.
